This blade is a modern interpretation of an extremely rare ancient nihonto blade in Joe Watson's personal collection. This is one of the oldest tanto blade shapes known to man. The handle shape is similar to how a traditional blade would have been mounted, but with an index finger groove on one side for better tactile orientation.
9" OAL and approx 4 3/4" blade
5/32" CNichols Stainless Damascus steel, single edge.
Fiberglass resin soaked cord wrap over genuine stingray hide.
Includes Tracker Dan sheath with HD kydex upgrade
