The HS model is Joe's next-level interpretation of the Puukko knives that were used by the Finnish military from the early to mid 1900s. It is of full tang construction for strength and longevity with modern materials. The heat ad cryo process is a good as modern technology allows. The handle fills the hand with a center swell contour. Enough of a guard but not so much that it is obstructive or a serious snag point- the design really can serve as a utility knife or combative one, just as the issued ones were meant to be.
